The Congregational Life Ministry Team has three areas of focus:  newcomer programs, parish-wide social events, and small action fellowship groups.

Newcomer Programs.  In addition to being warmly welcomed during the announcements on Sunday mornings, newcomers received printed information on St. John's, gifts and handwritten notes, as well as invitations to attend quarterly brunches in their honor. 

Parish-Wide Social Events.  Social events provide St. John's parishioners with opportunities for involvement and fellowship.  See the Newsletter and "This Week @ St. John's" for more information.

Hospitality Hour
Every Sunday, a Coffee Hour is held in the Gathering to promote fellowship among our parishioners.  Teams of hospitality committee members prepare the coffee and host once in a 6-8 week period.  To volunteer, please contact the office.

Greeters
Welcoming new members and visitors is the focus of this group.  Sunday morning greeters help newcomers and visitors find their way around the building, and answer questions regarding practices and activities in parish life.  Production of materials and information packets, and programs to foster new member assimilation, are their most visible activities.
