Here are the groups that provide music at St. John's: 

St. John's Adult Parish Choir

The Parish Adult Choir is made up of volunteer singers, High School and older, under the direction of JULIE FORD, Minister of Music.  Currently, there are also three scholarship interns.  This Choir leads the music for the 11:00 AM service from the first Sunday after Labor Day through Pentecost, as well as special services and concerts.  This group sings mostly traditional four-part choral music.  Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room.

SonShine Group

SonShine is composed of singers and instrumentalists who lead the music for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Eucharist, as well as special services. Under the direction of JULIE FORD, Minister of Music, this talented group specializes in "contemporary" Christian music. The group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Nave. The group is open to High School ages and older.

Handbell Choir

St. John's Handbell Choir, under the direction of JULIE FORD, Minister of Music, is a fine group of bell ringers that provide special music at our 11:00 a.m. service several times a year.  This group is great for anyone who reads music and loves to work in a group, but does not want to commit to every Sunday. It is open to ages from Middle School and up with an ability to read music. The group rehearses Thursday evenings from 6:00  to 7:15 p.m. in the Nave.

Children's and Youth Choirs

Children's Choir - For children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, directed by Tracy McCord. 

Youth Choir - For children in 3rd grade and older. Utilizing the Royal School of Church Music's "Voice for Life" curriculum, the Youth Choir provides children with the opportunity not only to sing their praises to God, but to learn about the music they sing and become familiar with the rich liturgical traditions of the Episcopal Church. The choir, directed by JULIE FORD, Minister of Music, rehearses every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
