The Reverend Bruce Campbell ...

The Rev. Bruce Campbell will be joining our staff in September, 2010 as a Priest Associate.  Pastor Bruce will be assisting Pastor Dorian with preaching, pastoral care, and the Healing Service on Wednesdays.

In addition, Pastor Bruce will be offering a Bible study at a time suitable for men with working schedules.

Pastor Bruce retired in January, 2010, after serving as the rector of St. Stephen’s, Wyandotte for 21 years.  He began his ministry serving in a mission up north followed by a college chaplaincy.  Bruce then worked as a custom furniture-maker while serving in a small country church.   In 1982, he became the Associate Rector at Christ Church, Dearborn where his focus was on Family Liturgy, Evangelism, and Pastoral Care.  

Besides a continuing love of woodworking, Bruce enjoys hiking, photography and playing the bass guitar in a band.   Bruce and Sarah are fixing up an old house (1896) in Wyandotte where they will continue to live.  Sarah is an artist and works in her studio at home.  She is also in private practice as an art therapist who works with head-injured clients.
