The Reverend Dorian McGlannan ...

Pastor Dorian has been the rector of St. John’s since July of 2005 at which time she, her husband, and three children moved to Northville from Tacoma, WA.

Ordained in 1986, Pastor Dorian has served the Episcopal Church in many areas, including The Liturgical Commission in the Diocese of Olympia, Diocesan Council in both the Diocese of Michigan and the Diocese of Olympia, and the National Executive Committee of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship. She was President of the Diocesan Clergy Association in the Diocese of Olympia.

A native of Baltimore, MD, Pastor Dorian served churches in Maryland and Washington State before coming to St. John’s, Plymouth. A graduate of St. Olaf College, with a degree in vocal performance and ethno musicology, Pastor Dorian brings a life-long love of music and cultural diversity to her work as a priest.

Pastor Dorian’s hobbies include reading, cooking, cycling, kayaking, Nordic skiing, politics, scrap-booking, music, theater, and traveling. Now that she lives in Michigan, she has a growing appreciation of football.
