Ministry comprising a variety of activities, as shown below. For

BEREAVEMENT & HOSPICE
This group assists with the maintenance of the Memorial
Garden, plans the yearly Memorial Service, and sponsors Pastoral
Care-related workshops.

CARD WRITING MINISTRY
This group provides
a ministry through phone calls, cards, and visits to those in our
household who are sick or struggling with some other issue.

HOMEBOUND, SICK & ELDERLY
Laypersons and clergy visit members who are homebound or in the
hospital. For more information, please contact the office.

EUCHARISTIC
VISITORS (EV)
Parishioners trained and licensed by the diocese to take communion to
the homebound on Sundays following the Eucharist. For more

PRAYER MINISTRY
Our Prayer Ministry
consists of a group of individuals who are called to a specialized
ministry of prayer for those who have requested it. For more

PRAYERS & SQUARES
This purpose of this group is to promote prayer as they make handmade quilts for parish members
with special needs. They are part of a national organization,
which you can read more about
here. The
St. John's group meets on Wednesdays from 11:30am
- 1:30pm in the Parish Hall.

These groups
offer encouragement and support to those with particular needs.

Al-Anon -
This group is designed to help families and friends of alcoholics
recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a
relative or friend. Meets at St. John's every Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
